Medical Insurance and Billing and Coding professionals perform a variety of administrative functions within a health care company, this includes: organizing, analyzing, and technically evaluating health insurance claim forms and coding diseases, surgeries, medical procedures, and other therapies for billing and collection. The medical billing career field is perfect for the individual who wishes to work behind-the-scenes within a health care facility, rather than directly with patients.
